CUCM7 and Billing server

Hi guys, If I configure the billing server in CUCM->CDR Management and all CDR data files are exported to that server, the CDR data files are deleted from de CUCM and I will not be able to use the CAR tool for additional call reports??

The CDR data will not be deleted just because they are exported to billing server.

The longevity of the CDR data was controlled in CAR Admin > System > Database > Configure Automatic Purge.

Hi htluo, thanks for the info, just these questions please:

1. What is the format of these files (*.dbf), can I use these files with a customized billing application.

2. When I use the run sql command for an specific query: run sql select authcodedescription from car:tbl_billing_data where originalcalledpartynumber='3225'

The result show me as NULL, do I need to configure something else??
