CUCMBE 3K: Main number

Hi Everyone,

I'm not certain about some of CUCMBE 3K functionalities. I've read the admin guide but it wasn't clear for me.

First, let me describe the scenario.

Site A (Head office) has the following devices/services:

1 x CUCMBE 3K

1 x Cisco 2901 ISR G2

1 x Cisco 2960 48 ports PoE

1 x ISDN E1 PRI (digital trunk connected to Cisco 2901 ISR G2) and the PSTN is 02 1111 1100 (100 number range)

20 x IP phones

Site B (remote office) has the following devices/services:

1 x Cisco 2901 ISR G2

1 x Cisco 2960 48 ports PoE

1 x ISDN E1 PRI (digital trunk connected to Cisco 2901 ISR G2) and the PSTN is 07 2222 2200 (100 number range)

10 x IP phones

- The two sites are inter-connected via an IP WAN (private network).

- The phones and voice gateway at remote office are registered in the main office.

My question is:

What is the use of the "main number" field under the Dial Plan section of CUCMBE 3K admin page? My understanding of this field is, it's used to tell the CUCMBE 3K the PSTN number of the main and remote offices. Is this correct? If so, why does the CUCMBE 3K only accept one main number. Where and how do I add the main number of the remote office?
