Hello,
I have a few SIP DID's on my CME (7.0, 2821) that are ringing either an extension or hunt group, which goes to CUE after 15 seconds. The message comes in correctly but CLID is never registered by CUE. Normally I should be able to see the inbound CLID of the sender's message in VoiceView but I do not - it's like it's not being passed to the CUE. What am I missing, or is this normal behaviour for incoming SIP calls? I can see sender ID when the message is from an internal extension.
Thanks

Hello,
Do you have the command "voicemail callerid" in you CUE config?

Yes, I do. Good call.
Messages sent from internal SCCP phones do show CLID name and number. Messages from SIP trunks do not.

One place to check is in the CUE gui.
Go to Voicemail -> VM Configuration
Make sure "Play caller ID for external callers" is enabled.
Hope it helps.

That did the trick - why it was disabled is beyond me...
Thanks!
