CUE error message on logon

Hi,

When I logon to CUE it starts giving a long message before and in between sh run of config, I have pasted the output below. What is causing this and how can I stop it to dispaly. I have tried "term no mon", did not help and "sh debugging" doesn't show any debugs running.

Thanks

hasrat

Re: CUE error message on logon

Hi Hasrat,

Thanks for the output. Please go ahead and disable the console logging as follows:

se-10-104-149-150# sh logg
info:     on
warning:  on
errors:   on
fatal:    on

Filter Info:

MODULE           ENTITY           ACTIVITY        FILTER

No filter active
se-10-104-149-150#
se-10-104-149-150# conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.
se-10-104-149-150(config)# no log console info

se-10-104-149-150(config)# no log console warning
se-10-104-149-150(config)# no log console errors
se-10-104-149-150(config)# no log console fatal

se-10-104-149-150# show logg
info:     off
warning:  off
errors:   off
fatal:    off

Filter Info:

MODULE           ENTITY           ACTIVITY        FILTER

No filter active
se-10-104-149-150#

Do let me know if the messages stop after the above changes.

Re: CUE error message on logon

Hi Hasrat,

Not sure if this one has already been addressed..

Can you send me the following info:

++     Is this an AIM-CUE or an NM-CUE / NME-CUE?

++     Version of CUE?

++     output of "show logging" from the CUE

These appear to be cosmetic messages which are simply talking about connections to the DB. Once you send me the above info, I will be able to confirm and determine which logging is enabled that is causing these to show up.

Re: CUE error message on logon

Hi Hasrat,

Could you please provide the "show logging" output as requested earlier? Here is a sample output:

se-10-104-149-150# show logg
info:     off
warning:  off
errors:   off
fatal:    off

Filter Info:

MODULE           ENTITY           ACTIVITY        FILTER

No filter active

Thanks!

Re: CUE error message on logon

Seems like your CUE is stuck in a loop.

From your CME you can try to reset the CUE module.

Command: service-module   service-Engine reset

Re: CUE error message on logon

It's not stuck in a loop based on the messages flooding the console of the CUE. Those are all informational messages (cosmetic) because someone has enabled them. Once we get the show logging output, I will be able to confirm the same.
