CUE not talking

Has anyone run into this. UC520 ver 4.2.0 CME with CUE ver 3.1. The CUE is service mod 0/0 ip unnumbered to looplack 0. I can ping the loopback but cannot ping CUE even thought they are on the same segment. I can session into CUE but cannot ping anything outbound not even the loopback with is the default gateway. As a last chance effort I reloaded CUE but to no avail.

What's going on with CUE?

Make it ip unnumbered on the interface that has the phones.

Pick a free IP on said interface.

Configure it via service-module ip address xxx.

Add a /32 route for it, pointing to the service module.
