CUPC Contacts Phone Numbers

UCM6.1(3), CUPS 6.0(5), CUPC 7.0

Client's AD contains the full 10-digit number for their users. I'm looking for the best approach to translate these numbers to the 3-digit extension. Can this be done through CUPS/CUPC, or is it easier to do this through Callmanager?

You may configure "Application Dial Rules" on CUCM to strip the digits.

CCMAdmin > Call Routing > Dial Rules > Application Dial Rules.

To make sure dial rules populated to CUPS, run the CLI on CUPS: "run sql select * from applicationdialrule". Restart SyncAgent if not see dial rules populated.

Restart CUPC to get the updated dial rules.
