CUPC - Need to block video calls.

Hi Folks,

We have CUPS setup and we have a requirement where we need to block only video calls for certain CUPC clients. nowJust wanted to k if we achieve this blocking the RTP ports used for video call(if any in specific) or any other alternative...... Any help would be greatly appreciative.

Sure you can block RTP ports.

As an alternative, you may also put those UPC devices in a different region in CUCM.  So you can use bandwith to control CAC (Call Admission Control).

Re: CUPC

Michael,

Thanks for the reply.  Im trying to figure out the ports which would block only video calls and allow audio calls to the user subnet. Looks like it uses dynamic ports. Could you please let me know the specific RTP port range used for video ?
