Hi,

I have the below environment

-CUCM7.0.2

-CUPS7.0.2

-OCS2007

-works okay between CUPC

-works okay between MOC

-MOC able to dial CUPC

-CUPC cannot dial to MOC

-no presence exchange between CUPC and MOC

when I dial from CUPC to MOC, I cannot see any traffic for the request as per sniffer from CUPS and OCS server. looks something problem on CUPS but cannot figure out.

-proxy domain in CUPS=lab1.com

-OCS2007 domain name=lab.com

-static route in CUPS=.lab.com via 10.0.131.50 (OCS IP@)

-enable user assignment from deskphone control for the MOC client user

-success the MOC client via deskphone control troubleshooter

Troubleshooting tips please,

John

First of all, we need to understand your deployment model.

There are many different deployment model on OCS/CUPS/CUCM. The most popular one right now is called "MOC RCC" (Remote Call Control).

In RCC model, MOC controls a Cisco IP phone.

If you're in RCC model and you say "CUPC cannot dial to MOC", that means "CUPC cannot dial IP phone". Is that what you meant?

Or did you mean, CUPC dials MOC-controlled phone. The phone rings but there's no prompting message on MOC?

Thanks!

HI,

We have a similar lab setup,

CUCM 7.0.1

OCS R2

CUPS 7.0.2

We have dual-forking working (kinda)- rings on IP phone but delayed on the MOC client. Extension numbers are in \+XXXX format.

Problem is now we are trying to use Exchange 2007 for Voicemail but somehow Exchange is not recognizing the number format. Anyone else run into this type of thing?

thnx
