on cm 4 and lower you would be able to do this but is not supported by cisco and you would need to check or setup the files again after each upgrade.
from cm 5 and higher it is a closed OS and you are not able to upload any customized files or change anything anymore, except ringtones and backgrounds for ip phones etc.
