We have a new server installation, we are trying to login to the Cisco Unity Connection server, but instead of login the system give the "database communicartion error" message, any clue about this issue?
Log into the CLI and run 'utils service list' to see if the Cisco DB is running. If it isn't you can try starting it with 'util service start '. If it won't start then it's time to reinstall. I have had this happen to me once before and after TAC spent a few hours digging around they just told me to reinstall. Worked like a charm after that; apparently something secretly blew up during the first install.
