Hi all,
I got an RTMT error message saying the "DCX500" service is using up most of the CPU. This didn't happended until last week and it happended very frenquent now, like every couple minutes.
I didn't see any event log error or DC dicretory errors.
What can cause the DC directory service going up that high?
BTW, we have IPCCX integrated with DC.
Thx,

Which CCM version?
Check:
CSCeg81938
High Memory usage found with DCX500 private bytes resolved in es21.
Aftre applying es21 still RTMT shows a LowAvailableMemory alert, indicating that there is
less than 10%
free physical memory on the system
CSCeg41834
RTMT LowAvailableMemory Alert shown when CM is operating normally applied workaround:
create a new alert based on "% Committed Bytes in Use", a threshold of 70%, depending on the system in question.
contacted developer that to report that
CSCeg41834 is happening in 4.1 as well, since the bug was reported for 4.0

We are running 4.2(3)ES10. We don't have the memory issue but the CPU issue.
Other than hosting the CCM users and IPCCX scripts/config, whatelse could use DC directory that might potentially cause the CPU goes up high?

I looked the troubleshooting guide for Directory issue. According to the doc, my DC database (C:\dcdsrvr\run\dcx500\database) is less than 100Mb.
If I need to reconfigure the DC directory and I have CRS with failover configured, do I need to run the command at the CRS servers as well? According to the doc, I don't need to run the command on the subscribers. Is that alright?
Thx

Yes, only run it in the PUB
reconfig_cluster
