A customer uses a Lucent PBX and in that he has both a PRI card (connected to the PSTN) and an ISDN BRA (S/T) card which is directly connected to the TE of an endpoint.
The endpoint dials (a data call using both channels) a remote system, as if connected to the PSTN, and the call is automatically routed out of the PBX using 2 channels on the PRI creating an end-to-end data call.
The customer would like to replicate this setup on a new Cisco Communications Manager setup.
The customer has a 2821 Router with a VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 (connected to PSTN) and a WIC-1B-S/T-V3 connected to the endpoint. How can we replicate the above requirement on the Cisco voice gateway?
