DHCP problem

Hi,

I did something really stupid (I think) and managed to break a VPN in the process.

I have both hard phones and soft phones. The hard phones were working just fine, but the soft phones weren't picking up the TFTP information from the TFTP server. Here's what I had configured that worked.

ip dhcp pool DATA-POOL

  network x.x.x.x x m.a.s.k

  domain-name thisplace.com

  default-router x.x.x.1

  dns-server d.n.s.1 d.n.s.2

!

ip dhcp pool VOIP-POOL

  network y.y.y.y m.a.s.k

  domain-name thisplace.com

  default-router x.x.x.1

  dns-server d.n.s.1 d.n.s.2

  option 150 ip a.d.d.r

I added the option 150 ip a.d.d.r to the DATA-POOL to see if the soft phones could get their information that way, and everything went down. Note that the option 150 IP is not part of either DHCP pool.

Why did this break anything, and what did I do wrong?

Thanks,

~Sal
