What is the best way to introduce dial by extension into an upfront prompt. Right now I have the opening greeting working with Unity Cx and dial by name but need dial by extension capabilities as well.

You should have Unity connection. I assume you have an Auto Attendant Call handler setup with an option to Dial by name like Press 1...and you want to do Dial by Extension.

Dial by Extension should be enabled by default. You should be able to call the AA and just try dialing an extension..You want to make sure that Allow Caller Input is selected in the Greeting for the Call Handler...
