Did the phone ring or not?

I am having some call center agents saying that they see an inbound call on their software of their call distribution provider.  But they say their phone is not ringing.  Can someone provide some trouble-shooting tips to verify whether the phone rang or if perhaps they had volume low did something else?

Review CSS/partition configuration. Ensure CSS applied to Cti ports can access phone partition.
