I am working on configuring 4 DID trunks with CCM 4.1.3. I have the voice ports configured as DID and wink-start, but am not sure how to configure call manager to use these. Are they configured as FXO or FXS? The provider is stating that they are not receiving a wink and therefore calls are not crossing. Any ideas???
The card being used is a 4 FXS/DID
a "show voice port" confirms that it is a DID using wink start
DID trunks use FXS. Once you enter the command "signal did wink-start" it configures the voice port for FXS. That is all that is needed on the voice port. Check the cabling. If you have the pairs crossed, that will definately cause a problem.
