Difference between speed dials and fast dials

Guys,

What is the difference between speed dials and fast dials? I am trying to program a company speed dial with one person controlling that list and the numbers assigned to it. What would be recommended in completing this feature? Speed dial or fast dial? Help, thanks guys.

Hi,

I think that speed dials are associated with the phisycal buttons in the IP Phones, so, you can call a number only by clicking on that button.

With fast dials, you need to pish the 'Fast Dial' button and the enter a number (1 to 100) wich corresponds to a position in a lista that each phone user can set up from the CallManager users page. This is more complex, because you need to remember the 100 postions of your fast dial.
