direct DID numbers in SIP

I have a cme 3.3 with 7902 IP phones. I have configured outbound calls by my SIP provider in this way:

sip-ua

authentication username 964812539 password 13544744535D4E7A7A757A70

no remote-party-id

retry invite 4

retry response 3

retry bye 2

retry cancel 2

retry register 5

timers register 250

registrar ipv4:213.162.201.146 expires 60

sip-server ipv4:213.162.201.146

Now all the IP phones are doing outbound account and inbound calls are going to a 7940 phone for the secretary.

I want to assign direct DID numbers for several IP phones, so that, people will can call directly to that phones without going to the secretary.

The problem is if I try to register another sip account I have this error:

Router(config-sip-ua)#authentication username 964812500 password erw7654

Only one username per device supported

Please unconfigure previous authentication information

How can I do this ? any ideas?

Re: direct DID numbers in SIP

Hi Sarenos,

I know of at least one voice provider, voxbone.com, that assigns DID numbers for incoming SIP calls. I haven't used myself, but I believe they will route all DID numbers to the same account. You will probably use these numbers as 'secondary' in ephone-dn.

Re: direct DID numbers in SIP

Hi, I have got to authenticate more than one account in the SIP provider with the hidden command "credentials" the problem that I have now is how to route all the calls done to the second account to the extension 101.

I have tried this but it's not running:

sip-ua

credentials username 965072510 password 115849534F43415C557B7967 realm beta.awa

voz.com

authentication username 964812539 password 13544744535D4E7A7A757A70

no remote-party-id

retry invite 4

retry response 3

retry bye 2

retry cancel 2

retry register 5

timers register 250

registrar ipv4:213.162.201.146 expires 60

sip-server ipv4:213.162.201.146

voice service voip

sip

All the incoming calls are going to extension 100

I want that incoming calls from 964812530 goes to extension 100 and incoming calls from 965072519 goes to extension 101

How can I do it?

regards
