Direct Outward Dialing

Hi,

My company is having extension numbers allocated from the range 33331000 to 33331999. I have some phones which I have allocated DN's in the range 1XXX. They are able to get direct inward dialing calls to their individual extensions. But when they are calling outgoing calls all the calls are displayed as from the pilot number , ie. 3331000.

In the gateway I have configured the Caller ID extension as 3331XXX. But still this didn't resove the issue.

What all additional configurations I need to make dod calls ? I am using Call Manager 5.0(4).

Thanks,

Pete

Re: Direct Outward Dialing

Check first with a "deb isdn q931" if you are sending out the correct caller-id.

Sometimes providers are resetting caller-id to the head number.

Re: Direct Outward Dialing

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I checked the debug. It is sending the pilot number, not the individual number.

Thanks,

Pete
