Directed Call Park

I am working on a system where they have an assistant for the president of the company and the president wants the assistant to be be able to answer his line and "park" the calls so he can see them on a flashing button and pick them up, but not be holding back on his actual line. They also want to be able to have her make multiple outbound calls and place the caller on hold for him to then just press a flashing button on his phone tp pick up that call as well. They are basically trying to replicate the type of functionality they had with their old system that they are used to. I have already configured the intercom feature for them to be able to address that item, but I am not sure what the best option would be for the call parking. Would directed call park work for this? If so what is the end user experience like?

 

They are both currently using the 9951 phones without any kind of side car. 

 

Any thoughts/assistance would be greatly appreciated.
