Disable call waiting beep

Folks.

This is probably really easy for some of you, but I'm new to CCM, so am struggling slightly.

As part of our business move, I've inherited CCM 4.1.3 SR5, so am really new to CCM. (I'm learning as I go).

I would like to disable the call wating beep.

Could anyone explain in laymans terms how I would achieve this.

Sorry.. forgot to mention, the telsets are 7905

I'm listing two options but in the interest of full disclosure, I'm not positive both of these are available in that version. I no longer have a 4.x install in the lab to confirm.

  1. (Solution) Set the
  2. (Workaround) Set the Busy Trigger to one (1).

Both of these settings are on the Line Appearance for the Directory Number.

I'd already set the bsuy trigger to one, but this created a problem with my hunt group.

If a call hit the hunt, and a second call came in before the first one was answered, there was no where for the second call to go.

So I needed busy trigger set to at least 2 or 3 calls.

Eventually, I found a global setting under services, call manager services. (flash only)

I wasn't aware this menu existed until yesterday.
