Hi,
I have been asked to replace a feature which existed in a legacy phone system. This feature enabled the user to block sending the external CLI by pressing button on their handset then dialling the requested number.
The call flow is CUCM 7.1 > > H323 gateway I have informed the user that this would be possible by implementing a dial peer with the command "clid restrict"
dial-peer voice 5 pots
destination-pattern 8T
clid restrict
port x/x/x
Could you advise if there is any alternative way to gain the same result?
Thanks
Nick

What I usually do for this is to create seperate set of route patterns that are set to block calling number, for example you would have standard 9.@ or so route patterns, then you can add *9.@ to block the caller ID or whatever fits in your dial plan, i.e. *67.@, etc
