'DisconnectText no resource (47)' on VoiceGateway

Hi sir.

Our VG refused to setup LongDistance Call Irregular ,with the log message 'DisconnectText no resource (47)' .

I have checked the E1 resource was Ok.

Despite it,I am not sure whether the DXP resource is enough. The related CLI is below:

sho dsp all

sho voice dsp voice

show voice dsp active

I can see many DSP resource with IDLE status

I DO think the root cause is some like DXP resource.Would you pls give me some feedback?

Re: 'DisconnectText no resource (47)' on VoiceGateway

It even depends on which endpoint caused this message to be logged. Would it be possible for you to get "debug isdn q931" for one such call and add it here. By Resource unavailable, it does not refer to the DSP alone. There could be multiple other reasons as well. For example if the CM for any reason was trying to invoke a MTP for this call and could not, it would send a disconnect to the GW with Resource Unavailable message.

So the debug, version of CM, IOS ver on the Router would help in issolate the issue

Re: 'DisconnectText no resource (47)' on VoiceGateway

Thanks mchandak.I'll try it later.

The version information is shown below,

--3800 Software (C3825-SPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(9)T1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

-ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 12.3(11r)T2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

-System image file is "flash:c3825-spservicesk9-mz.124-9.T1.bin"

--CCM,4.1(3)sr3c

In addition,it's just the time when LongDistance was failed,we could setup DID through the same E1 line.

And also,Since there are in all 4 PVDM2-48 and 3 PVDM2-64 installed in both VG,I'm wondering why the transcoding max session can only support to 3.

02(config)#dspfarm profile 1 transcode

02(config-dspfarm-profile)#max sessions ?

<1-3> Number of sessions assigned to this profile

Re: 'DisconnectText no resource (47)' on VoiceGateway

Well .. in this case the Telco disconnected the call with "Requested circuit/channel not available". Looks like the issue is with the Telco. You might want to get back to them and check if this E1 is running clean or not. For some reason they did not fwd the call, as it was unable to allocate a channel to it.

And with reference to Transcoding session, How many E1's do you have on the router and where are these PVDMs on the router, how many on the motherboard and NM. Can you attach "show diag". Also, incase you have even configured conference sessions on the router, remember that the same DSP cannot be shared by CFB and XCODE
