Display Called ID

Hello,

I'm using CM6. Does anyone know how to make the phones (7941) dispay the Called ID? Is it even possible? When I call an internal extension, can it tell me the name of the person I called?

Yes it is possible, but it should be done in CCM Admin login.

Should be the DISPLAY parameter in the phone's LINE setting. You probably set the ALERTING parameter also.

The IP Phone (say X) making a call to IP Phone Y should display where 1234 is the called extension

To: person's name

(1234)

The above is for internal calls only. If you need do to this for calls from the outside, that's a different story. Let us know and we can help.
