Does anyone know how to tie a line on an ATA to a DS0 channel?

Ok so basically what I am trying to do is when you pick up on analog on an ATA-187 it will pick up a DS0 channel on a T-1, if a call comes in on that DS0 channel I want it sent to the line on the ATA.  So no matter what incoming and outgoing calls from the DS0 are sent to only that ATA line regardless of what numbers are pressed, and vice versa attached are the parts of the config.  I have multiple TAC case for this and no luck yet.

This on a 2900 running

That will be easier if you run the  ATA with SCCP firmware, not SIP.

Then configure intertcom on the corrrpsonding DN, destination will a number that has a DP going out the specified DS0.

Unfortunately, the ATA-187 is SIP only for now.  And the older SCCP ATA's are all EOL.  So currently only option is a SIP ATA as we are not allowed to buy EOL equipment.

SIP not good for these things. You can use an FXS port, or VG202. But first, do testing with a a regular IP phone.
