DR Design Question

If I have 2 clusters that have an InterCluster trunk, East Coast and West Coast what is the best way to design the network, Call Manager and Unity to provide Disaster recover if one of the sites drops off the face of the earth?  SRST is a given but it would be nice to somehow retain full call processing capability.

Thanks in advance!  All replies rated

DR Design Question

Split each cluster between 2 data center and provide redundant WAN connections is always a good solution to ensure CORE services are redundant.

I am not a big fan of splitting CUCM servers between more than 2 locations as others may suggest as then it complicates things and what do you do with Unity Connection for example which can only have 2 servers in  a cluster.

If SRST does not meet your needs how about deploying CME as SRST or E-SRST?

HTH,

Chris
