Dropped Sip Calls CUCM 7.1.3 and CUBE

Hello All,

     I was wondering if anyone has experienced issues where outgoing SIP calls from CUCM to a SIP cube will occasionally drop out even before the call is estalished.  What the caller eperiences is they dial the number on the phone and then they hear nothing and then the call drops, so no ringing at all.  I do have cisco looking at ti and it doesn't look like it makes it to the CUBE.  Is this primarily a network issue?  Thanks

Dropped Sip Calls CUCM 7.1.3 and CUBE

Hi,

  There can be several issues here.  First, make sure both CUCM and the CUBE are configured to use either tcp or udp. Then, check what the configured listening ports are. Default for CUCM is port 5060, so just make sure both are configured the same.  This is a good place to look and is easy to fix.
