During voice-mail recording, initial portion of the message gets cut off

Hi,

I have a customer on Unity Express 8.0.1 .

Their users are experiencing VM issue . During voice-mail recording, initial portion of the message doesn't get recorded, only the end part gets recorded.

I found that there a bug CSCtg87604 for that issue :

While using 8.0.1, VM messages are not recorded 10% of the time. 
Symptom:
During voice-mail recording, initial portion of the message (initial 8-10 seconds) doesn't get recorded. Sometimes the complete message doesn't get recorded.

Conditions:
Happens randomly with CUE 8.0.1.

None

My question is the customer had this version since last year and why did it just start happening all of a sudden .

Also it says Fixed-in is "Pending" So does that mean we can't do anything about it untill they come out with new version ?

Any help would be much appreaciated
