Hey everyone--hitting a very strange issue in one of our German offices...we've got an E1 PRI going into a gateway, with an H323 connection to CallManager. We've got several fax machines connected (ports are SCCP integrated), and they're working fine. However, we've got a postage machine on one of the ports, and it can't download the postage that we purchase. When i watch the gateway, I see fax calls come in as g.711 on the FXS and the PRI channel, no issue. When this unit dials out, though, I see it use g.711 on the FXS port, but g.729 on the PRI channel...
Any idea why? Nothing else is acting up at this point. We just recently cutover in the last few weeks from a Siemens system to the Cisco system.
I've done a ton of this stuff in the states, and never had issues like this.
