E1 R2 disconnect problem, state S_WAIT_HOST_DISC

Hi everyone, i have a voice-gateway connected to a PBX Siemens of the TELCO provider through 2 E1 with R2 signaling, one E1 is for outbound calls and the other E1 is for inbound calls in 2 separeted ports. The problem is that sometimes the incoming calls hang up with the state S_WAIT_HOST_DISC. I had slips errors but i corrected with:

network-clock-select 1 E1 0/1/1

network-clock-select 2 E1 0/1/0

This commands didn't resolve the problem. i think that is a bug of the IOS (12.3(8)T8) but it isn't documented in Cisco. Any help?

Re: E1 R2 disconnect problem, state S_WAIT_HOST_DISC

Hi Ricardo,

"The problem is that sometimes the incoming calls hang up with the state S_WAIT_HOST_DISC"

I have located a bug, ID

CSCef90610, which may be causing the problem-

Headline - E1 R2 voice port hung and all the ports will hang gradually.

First Found-in Version 12.3(8)T3 (your IOS, 123-8.T8, is also amoung those affected).

This bug is a duplicate to

CSCed55231.

Please go ahead and upgrade to the latest 12.3 mainline code or 12.4.

Would an IOS upgrade be a possibility?
