To look at this Tom you would need to look at your group configs.

Do "show voice dsp group all" to view the modules in each slot.

I should also add to see what type of PVDM you have you can use the "show inventory"

Re: E1 voice interface having slipping error in Cisco 3845

Hi,

If slips are present on the E1 line, there is a clocking problem. CPE will need to synchronize to the clocking from the Telco.

Check if you have network-clock-participate and network-clock-select configured properly.

This commands will fix slips.

Hope it helps, if it does please rate.

Best regards,

Re: E1 voice interface having slipping error in Cisco 3845

Thanks both. The slipping error seems to be gone now.

Just a last one, what is the command to show the DSP resources in Cisco 3845?

Re: E1 voice interface having slipping error in Cisco 3845

Hey Tom,

You can use the "show voice dsp" to display the dsp info.

Thanks.

What is the command to show the DSP module/slot/version etc? I have the below output.

Does it mean the router below has no DSP modules installed?

Regards

Re: E1 voice interface having slipping error in Cisco 3845

Here're some commands to validate DSP's

1) show call resource voice stat

2) test dsp (this is a hidden command)

3) show pool
