I have a 7960 phone that will not register. There is no ephone in the configuration with that MAC however when I issue a sh ephone CLI, the MAC is listed as below. Note the lack of a primary_dn. The IP listed does not reply. Is there a way to force remove or clear a stuck ephone registration (without rebooting the CME)?

The show run | s ephone isn't going to show you anything because there is no ephone 43 in the config (running or start) hence my confusion of why the not working ephone shows up in a show ephone ( and as resistered no less)

Hi.
Have you tried to configure ephone 43 with a dummy Mac address?
if yes, does the router accept the config?
Can you please specify your current version?

First, thank you Carlo for your replies.
I did not try the dummy MAC. I ended up just using that ephone and mapping the ephone-DN (out of sequence but the system has 6 months before it is replaced).
I think the actual question I had was 'Is there a CLI in the CME router (IOS 15.2(3)T - Telephony 8.8) that allow me to clear a SCCP registration like I can with a SIP registration. (At least I recall doing that at one point). With our affecting all other phones'
I knew what the issue was / is, just don't know if it is possible to clear without a reboot.
I could be crazy, who knows. (not me...or me)
