Error extracting CME tar files

Has anyone run into this error?

CME1#archive tar /xtract tftp://192.168.10.11/cme-basic-4.0.0.1.tar flash:

%Error, "tftp://192.168.10.11/cme-basic-4.0.0.1.tar" is a directory.

I have verified connectivity to/from the router/TFTP server. I've succesfully run the same command on another router.
