Error message to do upgrade 7.1.3 to 8.6.2 CUCM in VMWare 4.1 ESXi

I Guys,

I installed the VMWare 4.1 in a one Server UCS C210. After this install I did the installation CUCM version 7.1.3 and didn´t had problem. When I Tried to do the upgrade I received the message error: "Error encountered: The selected upgrade is disallowed from the current version". I Verified the matrix compatibility and saw that is possible to do this upgrade.

Hi

Yes apply this COP file frist and after that upgrade your CUCM.

Hi,

CUCM 7.1 is not supported on Vmware...

I believe this is lab deployment. As CUCM 7.1 is not supported in VMware..

Solution for your problem

1)  Install  COP file ciscocm.refresh_upgrade_v1.0.cop.sgn

Also please note Guest Operating System required for CUCM 8.6.2 is Red-Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (32-bit).

I am sorry, but, I installed the cucm 7.1.3 in the VMWare and didn´t had nothing problem. My problem is upgrade

For upgrade you need Install  COP file ciscocm.refresh_upgrade_v1.0.cop.sgn
