ESXi 5 - UC on C series questions - OVA and Provisioning
We have a customer bought C-210 M2 series servers for their UC upgrade to 8.x. Since ESXi version 5.x is supported for CUCM, CNXN and UCCX now customer would like to go with version 5.x so I did install ESXi version 5.0. I have two questions on this since this is the first time I'm doing UC on UCS on ESXi version 5
1. When I add the Datastore it gave options with two files system VMFS3 (legacy hosts supported) and VMFS5 (advanced options supported). Which one is Cisco supported for UC is it VMFS3 or VMFS5 ? if both are supported then I would like to know which one is better or cisco recommended.
2. When I was trying to import the OVA template for CUCM 8.6 using "cucm_8.6_vmv8_v1.5.ova" template it is opting for "Thick Provisioned Lazy Zeroed" and Thick Provisioned Eager Zeroed " Which one should I select ?
