Hi,
In some virualization doc from Cisco they mentioned you can export 7.1 data via BAT and import that into 8.5.
I am trying to do so for 8.6 but users and phones (and a few others) fails due to some invalid fields.
Has anyone got this working?
It's a lab setup, and like to migrate all stuff from 7.1 NFR to 8.6 NFR. (as NFR upgrades don't work)
It's not that much data, but it would be great if we could migrate all users/phones etc

Well, that's not completely accurate.
You can use BAT to migrate info but it's not as easy as just doing export on 7.x and import on 8.x
Fields have been added or changed so you need to adjust the files before they can be imported.
Do so sample export from 8.6 to see what's new in the file and adjust as necessary.

Hi Sascha
Some notes on how I migrated from a CUCM6-->8 in this way: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2133957
