Exporting CM 4.1 csv to CUCM 8.6

We are moving from CM to 4.1 to CUCM 8.6, a new install.  Just want to know if I can export phones from 4.1 using BAT and import them into 8.6.  Is there any changes I need to make to the csv file before importing.

You can sort of do this. But honestly, I scrap it all and only use the following:

MAC Address

DN (update as needed)

Device Description (update as needed)

Line Text. (update as needed)

Associated Device Name (username)

Remember... Garbage out (4.x) Garbage in (8.x).

Rebuild your cluster based upon the SRND guide.   Create logical naming conventions. (and follow them!)
