Extension Mobility PIN

Dies anyone know if when we log onto a extension mobility device is the pin number sent in clear text? The same for the ccmuser page is the password in clear text.

I have security asking me and I suspect it is in clear text.

AFAIK it's clear text as you mention, that is not a secured connection
