extension showing different behavior externally than internally

Morning friends,


I have a virtual VoIP solution.

  • Cisco Unified Call Manager - System version: 8.6.2.22900-9

  • Cisco Unity Connection - Version 8.6.2ES44.22900-44

I have one extension that behaves differently that all of the others. From my phone, when I dial the extension, 3515, the systems behaves properly. It rings the phone then after a few rings, then goes to voicemail.However, from the outside world, when someone dials the main corp phone number, (XXX) 674 - 1500,and enters the 4 digit extension, instead of ringing the end users phone ( like it should), it goes directly to voicemail.

I am sure it is a checkbox somewhere, but when I search around, I am unable to find

Any help is greatly appreciated

Find the user in Unity Connection and check the "Transfer"

Rule settings;

Transfer Action
Transfer Calls To:
