external calls not coming on the phone

Hi Experts !!

We have an issue for one of our VP's and hence is critical. Looks to be a CSS-Partition issue, but the configuration seems to be correct.

Problem Description : The user is complaining that he is not able to receive external calls but is able to make the external calls. Internal 4 digit dialling is working fine. When outside callers are calling him , they hear a ring out that goes on and on .

ccm version : 6.1.3. , phone model : 7961

Can someone guide on this.

Look at the CSS applied to the ingress GW and ensure it has access to the partition of the DN, also make sure there are no other overalping DNs, such as translation patterns or old DNs.

thanks Chris, i checked the route plan report and there was a duplicate route pattern of the same extension, but i would no be able to delete that as it is configured on the gateway. Is there an alternative for it ?

Why can't you delete the RP? Is it needed? If not then you should be able to simply delete it.
