External conferences not possible (CCM 5.1)

Hi experts!

I?ve a strange problem on CCM 5.1! I`m not able to make conferences with external numbers! I can make conferences with internal numbers without any problems but when I try to add a cell phone, the external party gets fast busy. The internal call is still in progress!

Any ideas?

Are you using hardware conferencing resources or just the Callmanager software based conference? If you are using the software based conferencing it is most likely that the external call is using the G.729 codec which is not supported by software conferencing.
