FAC for extension number

Hi

I want to enter a route which will get routed to extension number ( on an ATA device)

Basically I want to enable FAC to reach the ATA device.

Is it possible? Can anyone help

Let me know

Thanks

Re: FAC for extension number

u may need to change ATA phone load to h.323 and have a gk and register the ata as h323 endpoint and then create the trunk so u can use a route pattern....

we may not want that.

Route patterns terminate in RLs and GWs ATa is just and endpoint like an IP Phone.

What you can do as workaround is create a Route Pattern which hairpins the call

Ie ATA DN is 2120

You create a RP and enable FAC

then this RP will prefix 1408902 so it will route the call to PSTN and then ring the ATA...so all calls to ata will hit pstn basically...or u can do some sort of weird routing with h323 gws...

in summary we cannot configure FAC for Devices we just have some workarounds above.
