failure to call forward

I have a situation that when a call is placed from an offnet phone to our phones then forwarded to a offnet phone number that is in the same area code as my CUCM the phone will ring once and go busy, if the destination number is in a differnt area code everything works.  To make this more interesting this happens when the call comes into a phone that is on our Nortel PBX that is trunked to our CUCM.  All of our calls come in and out of our SIP trunk.

Any help resolving this is greatly appreciated.

Hi David,

If the external phone is ringin even once then the call routing / partition-css part is okay. This will require either the debugs from the gateways involved in the call or the detailed callmanager traces for a test call.

Thanks Manish,

Is threre any chance that the ring is actually caused by the nortell creating the ring back before its forwarded then getting the busy signal after the forward is placed?
