fastdial information after upgrading to CUCM6.x

Hi,

We will upgrade CallManager 4.2 to CUCM 6.x. On CCM4.2 we have fastdial ip phone

service configured. I understand that after upgrading to CUCM 6.x, this service is built in personal directory.

My question is: will the upgrade keep the end user's fastdials information of the phone to the new CUCM version or all those information will be gone?

Thanks,

JJ

Re: fastdial information after upgrading to CUCM6.x

There will be some design change in Cisco Communications Manager 6.x. In Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.x, the Personal Address Book and My Fast Dials have been integrated into the Unified Communications Manager.

Click the Directories icon for the Personal Directory to appear.

The My Fast Dials and Personal Address Book are now located in the Personal Directory section.

Choose Directories > Personal Directory > Login on the IP Phone, and use the UserID and PIN.

The My Fast Dials and PAB appear.
