FAX over IP problems

I have 2 offices one office has FXO lines and other office doesn't have. Both are connected to CUCM placed in third place

The office which does not have FXO requires FAX line. I have Cisco FAX 187 in the same office and it is registered in CUCM.

I have created one dial-peer on FXO gateway pointing to the extension via CUCM.

For exaplme fax extension is: 1234 registered in cucm

description To CallManager Pub

preference 1

destination-pattern 1234

session target ipv4:

dtmf-relay h245-signal

fax-relay ecm disable

fax rate 14400

fax protocol t38 ls-redundancy 2 hs-redundancy 2 fallback none

no vad

I can dial and can listen to modem noise coming from FAX machine. But when i send any fax it does not work.

Any idea/clue....

FAX over IP problems

Take a look at the switch port the ATA is connected to. I have encountered ATA Fax problems in the past.  Upon investigation, I  found there were many errors and dropped packets at the ATA device.  If you  http:// to the IP address of the device and go to "Ethernet Statistics"  you may see this (I have only done this on the ATA 186 - SCCP).  Resolution to this for me has always been to ensure  the switch interface for the ATA is properly configured.
