You upload/install *.cop.sgn files on OS Administration page.

If you have the files on your desktop how do you upload them since it asks for a server and username/password?

I guess I can browse to the server and put them on the server desktop if I have to.

You need to have ftp/sftp server, you can download tiny and handy (no need to install, just launch file) from here: http://www.coreftp.com/server/

you can refer to this guide:

Software Upgrades

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/cucos/5_1_1/iptpch7.html

You can use the Software Upgrades options to perform the following types of installations and upgrades:

•Install/Upgrade-Use this option to upgrade the application software, install Cisco Unified CallManager Locale Installers and dial plans, and upload and install device packs, phone firmware loads, and other COP files.
