Hey guys --
I have a problem where I have an Attendant console with multiple lines. If the AC is logged in and the line RNAs, I would like it to hit a call handler in UC 2.0. The CH exists in CCM as a dummy CTI RP that is forwarded to VM. The AC line is forwarded no answered to this RP.
Because of the behavior of call forwarding, the oringinator's VM box is seen by Unity (AC line) and not the number that it was forwarded to (CTI RP).
Can I manipulate the CF options in CCM or manipulate the routing rules in UC2 to make this work?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Ohamien

Hi Ohamien,
Can you try configuring a duplicate Call Handler in UC with the AC Line #. Then have the forward go to the Unity Pilot number instead of the RP number. This is the only way that I can see this working.
Hope this helps!

Yeah my colleague did that. We just thought that it was somehow simpler. The call routing rules in Unity worked when we added just one rule. When we added the other 4 rules for the other lines, none of the rules worked.
So extra CHs it is I guess!
Thanks.
