Free up Callmanager 6.1(5) diskspace

Hello all,

I want to do a bridged update from CUCM 6.1(5) to 8.6. After initiating the update there is an error message "there is not enough disk space in the commom partition to perform the update ......

My disk usage for active and inactive partition is 90%. logging partition is 84%

Is there a posibility to free up disc space? For logfiles I know how to delete them, but what about diskspace in active and inactive partition?

What is ment by commom partition?

Best regards

Manfred

Re: Free up Callmanager 6.1(5) diskspace

Hello,

I recognized that the logging partition is the same as the common partition.

After freeing up diskspace by deleting logfiles up to 2 times the size of the update file I was able to start the update.

Deleting logfiles is done best by decreasing the number of concurrent logfiles in CUCM Serviceability

Alternativ you can delete Logfiles in RTMT. Choose "collect tracefiles" with the option "delete files ..."
