Front end message on EXT

I have an EXT 12345 that when called I want to front end a message. After the message I want the call to ring the EXT. What is the best way to do this? I'm running CCM 5.1.

You are probably asking about kind of IVR functionality. This can be done in a lot of ways, like Unity or IPCC Express etc.

We used to be able to remotely record announcements in IVR 5 since it was windows box; however, we have not been able to do it since upgrading to IVR 8 which is Linux based. Can you please tell me how would you do it in IVR 8?
