Is there any way to have my FXO port disconnect after a certain time limit? I have calls staying up for over 1 hour and I want them to die after 30 minutes. Can I do this with an FXO port?
Cheers!

Hi,
It is a common problem with loop start signalling. Can you try to use ground start signaling rather than loop start signalling and see whether it help ?
thanks.

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking for - this applies to a situation where someone hangs up and
the FXO port does not disconnect - try the following commands -
voice-port x/x/x
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
timeouts call-disconnect 1
timeouts wait-release 1
timing guard-out 500
shut
no shut

What I am trying to acomplish in this one is I want any call to drop after 30 minutes. Basically I want a timer, that says after 30 minutes where someone is still chatting away or not, drop the call, close the FXO port.
Cheers!

Thanks for the comments, but what is the actual command?
Also I am not using a Call Manager here, so not sure if it will apply.
Cheers!

Sorry, that is a CCM service parameter. I know of no IOS command that will disconnect
an FXO port after a certain call duration.
Anyone else?
Good Luck!
